Iconic and cultured ceiling light with a square metal frame and light blue and white glass elements; the massive light blue elements are trapezoidal in shape and have been ground and chamfered on the edges; the flat square glass in the center has the function of diffusing the light evenly; the visible structure is formed by the glass panes themselves, while the part looking at the wall is enameled white color. Inside, easily accessible, are placed two elements for inserting lamp holders, four holes for easily attaching the ceiling light fixture to the wall, which can be placed on the ceiling or used on a wall as a wall sconce, and a larger hole from which the electrical wires from the wall to the lamp holders will pass, which are not provided but can be conveniently purchased with the size and voltage of your country. The ceiling light was produced between 1970 and 1973 in an artisan workshop in Milan in perfect Fontana Arte style, a company that inspired many manufacturers large and small at that time. The prestigious Fontana Arte company was founded in Milan in 1932 by Luigi Fontana and Giò Ponti and specialized in glassworking and the production of furnishing accessories, a prominent name in Italian design.
