The rectangular top has a border … Read more A fine 19th Century Persian box with a painted lid and intricate hardwood inlays. The rectangular top has a border inlaid in a repeating star pattern. It frames a wonderful painted image depicting men on horseback in a landscape with trees and hills. The sides are all inlaid with the same star decoration.
