This high-quality ball-shaped studio ceramic art vase was created by the German ceramist Walter Gebauer (1907-1989) in his own workshop in Bürgel in the Thuringia region. In the GDR, from 1964 he taught at the Burg Giebichenstein Halle University of Design. This piece has an attribution mark,
