This stylish object was designed by Paolo … Read more Wonderful Mid-Century modern coat stand made in chrome-plated steel and black abs plastic. This stylish object was designed by Paolo Orlandini and Roberto Lucchi for Velca in Italy during the 1970s. In fabulous conditions, the contrast between the black platic and the chrome is incredibly charming. This coat stand features a top plate with 6 larger hooks that can rotate and 3 lower hooks, the round black base has 6 round round holes for storing umbrellas and walking sticks. The coat stand can be easily disassembled making the shipping safer and less expensive. The central column is made out of 3 cilinders that lock into each other in order to adjust the height. A wonderful piece to complement a Mid-Century entrance hall. Dimensions (cm): Diameter - 45 Max Height - 190 This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
