KPM Biedermeier Topographical Scenic Cup Szenentasse Porcelain - circa 1844-47, Germany. It is decorated with a miniature painting of the town of Herrnhut on one side and gilt scrolls on the other. The cup is marked on the underside with an under the glaze cobalt blue eagle holding a scepter and initials KPM, the mark used between 1844 and 1847. Herrn Hut means the Lord's watchful care or the Lord's protection. The town was formed by Bohemian religious refugees from The Moravian Church on the lands of the German nobleman Count Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf(1700-1760) in Saxony.
