The silverplate lid is clearly marked with Christofle's horse head mark used between 1935 and 1983 and CHRISTOFLE FRANCE. The glass container is marked on the underside Orfevrerie Christofle. The sugar dispensing lid has a clever, gravity activated mechanism which can be adjusted to achieve the desired sugar flow. A sturdy, heavy, elegant and substantial piece. In very good condition as shown.
Measurements: 6 1/2" tall including stopper by 3" diameter approximately.
