This beautiful serving tray from Gien is decorated with crescent moons and scrolling motifs inspired by Ottoman art traditions—designs that were especially popular in European decorative arts during the 19th century, when Orientalism was in vogue. The tray is marked on the underside with Gien's black printed "three tower" hallmark, used after 1866. Founded in 1821, the Faïencerie de Gien is one of France’s most renowned faience manufacturers.
A versatile piece that complements French Country decor, it’s perfect not only for traditional serving but also as a stylish coffee table catch-all or an entryway organizer for keys, sunglasses, and mail.
