This exquisite Japanese bronze pheasant from the Meiji period is beautifully patinated and gilded, detailing the bird’s feathers and form. The pheasant is mounted on a naturalistic, carved wood base, adding to its lifelike presence. A character signature is found on the underside of the bird's tail, indicating its maker. This elegant piece makes a striking statement in both modern and Asian-inspired interiors.
