Set of 4 ceramic spoon rests depicting the seasons in Denmark designed by artist Bjorn Wiinblad (1919-2006) for Nymolle pottery. Each rest displays a whimsical scene with a couple enjoying outdoor seasonal activities including a sleigh ride in Winter and leaf raking in the Fall. The scenes are in a dark burgundy red which contrasts nicely with a light gray background. The original box from Nymolle is included.
The spoon rests are in very good condition…no chips, cracks or repairs. The box shows signs of age including discolorations and spotting.
The box measures 5.5” wide x 7” tall x .75” deep. Each spoon rest measures 3” tall x 2.1” wide x .5” deep.
