This photograph appeared in the December 1967 issue of the German Freikörperkultur (FKK) magazine "Nudism," self-described as the "organ of the German Naturist movement." Here the artist has set the photograph against a dramatic oxblood red backdrop. It is presented in a finished solid wood frame with wide linen matting under museum-quality (non-reflective) glass.

Ferdinand Roten first established his fine art gallery in Baltimore, Maryland in 1932. He operated in several locations (including Cambridge, White Plains, San Francisco, and Washington, DC) until his retirement in 1967. In its day, the Ferdinand Roten Gallery was an internationally known handler of original prints and had one of the largest collections of graphic art in the United States. See less
