This colorful 1950-1960s distemper on paper figure is by Bay Area artist Alysanne McGaffey (1931-2018). McGaffey was part of the Bay Area Figurative Movement and graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute. She held offices in several art organizations and painted watercolors of the Pacific seashore in her Pacifica studio.
Signed lower right. Unframed. Shipped in standard sized archival mat.
