This 1950-60s charcoal on paper male figure is by Bay Area artist Alysanne McGaffey (1931-2018). McGaffey is part of the Bay Area Figurative Movement and graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute. She held offices in several art organizations and painted watercolors of the Pacific seashore in her Pacifica studio until the end of her life.
Signed on bottom.
