This late 20th century abstract serigraph on paper in red, green, black and white entitled "Signal Three" is by Northern California artist, poet, & playwright Gwen Stone (1913-2007). Stone has exhibited at the CA Palace of the Legion of Honor, SF Museum (now SFMOMA), Oakland Museum, and the San Jose Museum among others. She is included in many private and corporate collections and was awarded the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in 1990.
Signed and titled on bottom. Edition 6/25.
The piece is framed in a contemporary white wood frame floating on warm white mating behind clear conservation glass.
