Cloudy Sunrise, framed watercolor and gouache painting on paper. Lovely depiction of a blue seascape and sky with clouds. Incredible light study.
Artist signed lower right F.S. Herrmann (Frank Simon Herrmann, New Jersey, New York, 1866-1942). Artist's biography at verso. Framed in a gilt frame with faux bamboo detail. Soft pink matting draws out the color in the artwork.
