French ink wash that blends soft greens, browns, and grays in a charming depiction of the Pont Nôtre-Dame in Paris. Circa 1915, this painting offers a historic view of the Pont Nôtre-Dame as it stood before its reconstruction in 1919. The bridge's five original arches (four of which are visible in this painting) were replaced by a metal structure that remains to this day, facilitating the passage of boats and the flow of the Seine River.
