Two strands of luscious Second Harvest Chinese Freshwater Pearls. Each strand of these glowing pearls is half silver and half white. The necklace is secured with a hammered Sterling Silver toggle clasp and is 14-15 inches in length. Pearls are Mother Nature’s gift from the Sea. They are organic gemstones formed inside either freshwater or saltwater mollusks. The type of mollusk producing the pearl influences the body color. Most mollusks have been assisted by the insertion of a bit natural material inserted into its shell around which it can lay down layers of nacre. These cultured pearls come in a variety of natural colors including gold, white, gray, black, and blue. Then they have the lovely iridescent hues of all the rainbow colors.
