It is made in Italy using a centuries old Murano technique where a glass master rolls small .925 silver sheets onto a hot glass mass during the early stage of glass-blowing, and then once the silver foil covers most of the blob's surface, he puts on another layer of transparent glass. Once the master starts blowing the glass, the silver foil within breaks up into small pieces which results in objects having silver pieces captured inside them resembling stardust. See less
