This Thonet chair bears a strong resemblance to designs by Josef Hoffmann from the beginning of the 20th century when he was part of the Wiener Werkstätte (e.g. chair A643). Sleek model and hand-woven rattan seat. The chair is stamped "Thonet 21" (likely a production number). Produced around 1920. Rare chair.
