The drawer has a rosewood … Read more Small, refined table in rosewood and palisander marquetry, opening with a drawer around the edge. The drawer has a rosewood veneer front arranged in butterfly wings and surrounded by palisander and light wood fillets. The lock is in working order and comes with its chiseled key. The legs of this small piece of furniture are curved and feature rosewood edges that highlight the diagonal rosewood marquetry. These legs end in scroll-shaped bronze feet. The top of this slightly curved coffee table is decorated with a diamond-shaped rosewood design interlaced with strips of different shades and light wood fillets. This decoration is surrounded by a rosewood fillet, itself encircled by rosewood arranged diagonally to increase the contrast. The edge of the top is embellished with a bronze molding carved with plant motifs. A shelf connects the four legs. It features the same composition as the top with marquetry and refined molding.
