Measures approximately 5" long and high and 1.75" wide with handle. This piece was sourced from the estate of the American Southern artist WILLIAM CHRISTENBERRY, whose work is held in numerous museum collections, and worked in painting, photography, and mixed media examining memory and place in Hale Co. Alabama, his place of birth. Christenberry's work was heavily influenced by William Faulkner, Walker Percy, Walker Evans, and other Southern thinkers. In addition to being a highly useful piece of tableware, this piece's provenance is storied. See less
