This vase is so typical for … Read more A fantastic Mid-century modern ceramic/stoneware vase a hand-made by Thomas Hellström for Nittsjö Sweden. This vase is so typical for Hellströms' design, simple lines yet still very bold due to the glazing, which in parts has been left unglazed, which nearly looks lie rough concrete with simple details in a graphic pattern and at the top of the vase it has a fantastic deep green color. The combination becomes an interesting mix of brutalism but also very elegant and sophisticated and even though it was produced in the 60s, and very much of its time, yet still has a contemporary feeling to it. It is in excellent condition.

It is 17cm (6.69") high and about 12.5cm (3.93") in diameter. This piece has an attribution mark,
