These high-quality early halogen floor lamps model 'zagar' were designed in 1978 by silvio carpani for stilnovo in italy. Award-winning italian design: compasso d'oro (1980). Carpani is also known for his iconic designs for other italian brands like zanotta, alessi, danese and flos.
the set of two iconic metal lamps in postmodern / brutalist design features a tilt-adjustable halogen light each, that is also dimmable by a rotable switch on the upper lamp stem. The two sculptural lighting-objects are in all original condition.
