A very nice signed Kutani sweetmeat tray (hors d'oeuvres) consisting of 7 porcelain bowls and the tray which rests on a small foot. Each gold edged bowl is delicately hand painted with around the border area, the inside with calligraphy and an individual Japanese figure of a Noh actor. All sit comfortably in the tray, each piece signed by the Kutani establishment in Japan.
One of the oldest Japanese porcelain makers. Interesting set for a party or event.
