Early C.1920's; Liberty & Co. attributed, Egyptian-Revival, Anglo-Indian, English Thebes stool, in an ebony satin stain finish, with open vented, slated seating. Attribution noted but can only be from them or William Birch, design for Liberty & Co., as there have been several notable Thebe Stools, attributed or in the style of, and toward's them, as well as in this finish and design style seen herein. ALL is original to the piece,. and in original condition. Made by William Birch in England.
