Steelcase was founded as the Metal Office Furniture Company in 1912 by Peter M. Wege in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The company went on to collaborated with designers like Frank Lloyd Wright on office furniture. This piece is the perfect blend of modern elegance and engineering. It is a sweeping chrome cantilever frame with black plastic armrests, the chrome frame suspends two comfortable upholstered pads. The upholstery is clad in black basketweave and detailed with tufting. Original black colored hopsacking fabric with button detail on the seat back and cushion. See less
