From the Prince of Wales Restaurant Crown Room at the legendary Hotel Del Coronado, this tea cup, saucer and marked teaspoon are a rare piece of history and in near unused condition. The location site of the classic film, Some Like it Hot, this dates from 1960's with the restaurant closing later in the 80s. Custom china or "restaurantware china" is still popular and especially nostalgic for favorite hotels and eateries. Made by Shenango China. Saucer, 5.87" x 5.87" x 1"H.
