It has been restored and reupholstered by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process. The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored. The new upholstery is high quality fabric, it's very easy to clean and retains its colours very well even in direct sunlight.

Mucke Melder began production in 1928 with furniture made of nickel-plated and chrome-plated steel. The first type was a spring chair designed by A. Lurcat for the company Thonet, whose designs he often used under license. Arnošt Beck designed her own design for it.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
