Egon Schiele, an Austrian Expressionist, was considered the greatest draftsman of the 20th century. His works often featured eroticism, which caused conflict with art critics and society. Schiele's treatment of the nude figure portrayed a lonely spirit haunted by sexuality.
Influenced by Gustav Klimt, he developed an independent anti-classical style with jagged lines rooted in psychological and spiritual feelings. His works are rare and highly regarded by art collectors worldwide.
