The two frames are different in design. They are made to a high quality. The elaboration of the motifs is very fine and true to detail.
The frames are crafted like the trunks of a rose bush.
In one frame the picture is flanked by a Cupid with a bow, roses, buds, leaves and 2 birds. The second frame shows a Cupid, at the bottom center the quiver with bow and arrows, also roses, buds, leaves and here two butterflies.
The two original glass panes with faceted and gold-colored steamed edges are still preserved, but the edges are chipped and the steaming is heavily rubbed. Alternatively, two new glass panes with polished edges were made and are also part of the offer.

One of the two frames has a numbering in the bronze cast: 215.
