The piece's double bonnet top lends it a sense of regality, while the swirling patterns of the burl walnut veneer add luster and charm. Behind the arched doors is an arranged interior with an upper part with various nooks and drawers. Each drawer features dovetail joints, and beneath is a large writing surface with a polished finish.
