Gerte is known as a superior cabinet maker when furniture was truly custom made. The center of the table is a selected very figured mahogany with a nice banding of rosewood. The pedestals are done in a solid mahogany with a French design. There are two leaves at 18" each so the total table is 9'. The table top has been refinished and is signed on the oak stretchers. I also have the original table pads. See less
