Oil painting on canvas board of a Dutch riverscape with windmills in the distance and riverboats in the foreground, by Satori Gregorakis. Signed in the lower left corner. Framed.
Satori Gregorakis (b. Long Island, N.Y., 1943-) I paint scenes in the tradition and style of old masters because I like being surrounded by classical paintings. At the heart of my process is the careful and deliberate preparation of surface.
Satori’s paintings are widely collected both nationally and internationally.
