Ornate scrolls with foliate ornament wind through the work, some terminating in floral or vine motifs. At the base, two dragons flank large ¨S¨ scrolls which, in turn, support a jovial male figure with a swag draped from his shoulders and a vessel of fruit overhead. Above this, a pair of gryphons flank a pedestal and medallion containing a fleur-de-lis, and heraldic shield with palmette above adorns the top. See less
