The painting shows a Limoges cruet and a blue and white peathernware French country plate. Blue flowers and an imperial moth are also part of the composition.. The painting is 14" by 11" and was created on a wooden panel from Inner-glow Panels. The elegant European styled frame is 16" tall by 13" wide. The frame has a slim profile and is 1" thick. A wonderful summer palette with a French felling.


Marina Movshina is an American artist known for landscape painting, and for her illustrations of children’s books, as well as her botanicals. Her paintings have been selected for the exhibition of distinguished alumni at Carnegie-Mellon’s Centennial Celebration of its College of Fine Art, the Logan Center at the University of Chicago and the Harlin Museum in West Plains, MO. An elected artist member of the American Artists’ Professional League, New York, NY, she is admired for her skill as a painter and draftsman in the handling of space, depiction of light, and expert use of color. She received a B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University and studied at the Art Students’ League, New York, NY, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Marina lives in St. Louis, MO.
