The sleek, Calla … Read more This elegant, hand-blown Mid-Century Modern vase is a classic example of Italian Murano art glass, c. 1960s. The sleek, Calla Lily or trumpet silhouette sits atop a heavy clear base. The glass features striking internal black and white vertical stripes (Filigrana or Zanfirico canes) embedded in the clear crystal, creating a crisp, modernist look. Attributed to high-end Murano factories like Seguso or Fratelli Toso.

NOTE: As shown in the next to the last photo, there is a small chip/flea bite near the polished edge of the heavy base, which is factored into the price.  This is not obvious at all when viewing the vase on a surface and is not structurally compromised.
