Hyman was a professional artist, published poet, played piano at the Officers Club during World War II. She studied theater at Stanford University and later performed professional monologues in the Bay Area. Member of the Peninsula Art Association, student of Alice de Boton. Exhibited Society of Western Artists, 17th annual, De Young Museum, S.F. and exhibited Society of Western Artists, 19th annual.
