Signed and dated "PAUL SOREL 1964" in the lower right corner. Presented in a simple wood frame with a linen liner. No glass. Image size: 30"H x 24"W. A Laguna and Los Angeles He moved to New York in the 1980s. Don Bachardy did a portrait of the artist in 1997. He is mentioned in the Christopher Isherwood papers in 1975 in reference to a poem to Christopher. we will be extending our research to clarify our synopsis of the artist and affiliation with Don and Christopher.
