An impressive ensemble of a pair of sconces with matching table lamp, dating to mid-century France. The bulbous glass globes are etched with faint alternating bands of clear and white that cast an almost tactile glow on the wall or table. Elongated brass backplates mounted to the wall support the ebonized spears from which the globes of the sconces rise like torches. The fixtures each have a round brass plate at the top of the glass diffuser that is removable for changing the light bulb. All three pieces have been professionally rewired for the US using UL listed parts. Note that the table lamp has an in-line switch to control the light of an intermediate bulb and each sconce takes a candelabra-base bulb. Sold as a set only.
