This striking interpretation of a classic "kussenkast" type armoire is unique for its more flat or concave geometric paneling rather than the cushioned effect the style is known for. The cabinetmaker has thoughtfully built this antique storage piece in four bodies to have an easier time moving: individual sections for the crown, the upper section of two short doors, lower cabinet with two taller doors, and the base which includes a large drawer raised on ebonized bun feet. A single key is used for both functioning locks. Cleaned, tightened and polished with a paste wax this antique is ready for immediate use. Be sure to view the detailed images. See less
