The armoire showcases a massive rectangular shape with two carved doors displaying four rounded panels. The top is adorned with a carved molding with edge patterns while the legs are carved in a baluster shape. The doors open via a discreet brass ring pull above a unique hardware lock to reveal two inner shelves. The piece is covered with a warm light brown lacquer which exudes serenity. Above the doors the top is decorated by two rows of beads, a small one sitting below a larger row above. This large 20th century Javanese armoire with two carved doors would be an exotic problem solver and would offer an impressive amount of storage in any bedroom. See less
