This Chinese 19th century large armoire is adorned with a bronze medallion depicting various figures. This tall armoire is made of wood, with a rich wood grain highlighted by a warm varnish. This cabinet is well finished with a round carved plank on its bottom and an overhanging top. The two massive doors feature at their centre a large carved bronze medallion on which are two geometrical handles. The medallion depicts uncommon scenes with Chinese characters, perhaps ceremonial figures, with traditional Chinese patterns such as cloud scrolls.
