The circular top is made of two elm planks and varnished with a warm red lacquer. The table is raised on four legs with delicate column insets, connected to one another with a cross stretcher adorned in its center with a medallion, perhaps placed there to receive a decorative item. The general roundness of this Art Deco Chinese table, circa 1930 would make it a sophisticated and unusual item a most elegant decoration. Thanks to its convenient dimensions, it would be a splendid side table or coffee table, perhaps in a den. See less
