This Chinese 19th century altar table was made of red lacquered wood and black lacquer drawers and displays a refined rectangular shape. Its feet feature a horse hoof motif. The table is lacquered in a bright red hue that makes for a Stark contrast with the black lacquer of its five drawers. Each drawer opens thanks to a brass bail handle.
