The middle section is cylindrical with a hand-painted Chinese palace scene depicting an emperor among his courtesans and women with fans. The bottom and top parts display a blue and white flower painting, following the ancient Chinese tradition. The base and the top are painted in black. This 1970s hand-painted Chinese porcelain lamp with characters would be an exotic lamp in most homes, perhaps in a living room where it would add a flair of the east. See less
