This rectangular trunk was made in metal and painted like a red leather reproduction. Gilt hardware reinforces the corners while a three piece metal lockset secures the contents. The trunk is carried by a simple metal handle. The front showcases the quote "Best English Trunk". Made in Europe by Wilkes & Son, this trunk was designed for export.
