This vintage Mid Century 1964 " Brothers " framed original G. Hovey signed portrait oil painting on canvas is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection. The original one of a kind oil painting portrait on canvas depicts a beautiful portrait in painterly Realism style of two young brothers. The painting on canvas signed on front lower right by the artist G. Hovey, and signed an dated on the reverse back side " Hovey '64 ".
The vintage Mid Century framed original oil painting measures 25" W X 19" H X 1 1/2" D. It is period custom framed with a dark walnut stained solid wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, use, and light signs of handling. There is some patina and wear to the frame molding that adds to the authentic vintage appeal. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price.
