Charming Mid-Century Jewelry Box ~ Florentine Style ~ Marked "Made in Japan".
The bottom drawer opens to a green velvet lining. The top of this wooden box lifts to reveal green velvet jewelry storage and see and hear the music box playing "Lara's Theme (Somewhere My Love)" ~ theme song to Dr. Zhivago.
Maurice Jarre was the composer of Lara's Theme and the entire score of Dr. Zhivago (released in 1965) for which he won an Oscar. If you haven't seen Omar Sharif & Julie Christie in the movie ~ watch it!
