Interesting lunge chair attributed to Florence Knoll. Aluminum Construction with Allen bolt connection. Looks to be original Gerard black and white checkerboard fabric.
An uncommon chair to find. Last photo is for reference. Shows a pair of similar chairs forms with same construction.
This chair does need to be reupholstered. Not certain if the fabric can be saved. The frame shows some wear to the aluminum finish. It is structurally very sound. Maybe just a good aluminum polish cleaning is in order if desired.
