We love the soft pastel palette and the impressionist rendering of this plein-air painting. The signature in the bottom right corner is difficult to make out, but it resembles something like 'J.E. Bobson'. This piece shows age in the craquelure, the darkened back of the canvas, and the assembly of canvas on the frame, estimating an early 20th-century origin. See less
