It depicts a quaint, enchanting cottage nestled deep within a lush, verdant forest that seems to be straight out of the Hansel & Gretel fairy tale. The thick canopy of leaves and the dense green foliage surrounding the cute little house evokes a sense of magical seclusion and instead of a sinister witch's lair, you'll find a place where you can mentally glamp in comfort.

The aged matting seems to compliment or enhance the colors of the painting very well. It appears to be acrylic on board and though the signature is not visible, the work is apparently by a local artist M. Bittner.
